Alexis really helped me throughout my high school years. My favorite memory with her was our last year at summer camp. We were both going through rough stages of our lives. Our last night at camp her and I sat down and we both talked about what was going on with our lives. She acted like I was her younger brother even though I was older than her. As I was talking to her she just sat there and listened. She made me safe. Then we heard a loud boom thinking something was wrong and she was paranoid. Looking back she was trying to take care of me because I was the big baby that night. The day we were set to leave camp she started crying because she didn’t want to go, I will never forget the last hug she gave me and how much of an impact she made in my life growing up.
